Quality Warranty

Shanghai United Compressor Co., Ltd (United) undertakes a standard 12-month Quality Warranty (since first initiate or 18-month since exit factory) on the whole package of the United Compressor sold from this date under this agreement's provisions and its operating manual issued from time to time. Apart from that, United also guarantees an extended 36-month conditional quality warranty for its Air End, Motor and other Major Parts. United manufacturer pre-configured screw air compressor with just one single power connection and compressed air connection and a built-in cooling system, which greatly simplifies installation. The screw air compressor is consistent in providing high quality compressed air for all walks of life due to its high capability, high efficiency, maintenance-free and high reliability. To obtain the warranty stated, the user shall agree to all terms of this agreement.

Quality Assurance Programme

United Quality Assurance Programme can help you optimize your investment in compressed air systems (Significance: The accumulation of future benefits) and keep your screw compressor running at a high level of efficiency. The standard one-year whole package warranty extends to three years or 30,000 hours (conditions apply), while scheduled preventive maintenance services will significantly reduce your unanticipated downtime.

Major Parts Covered

The major parts covered by the 36-month conditional quality warranty are screw compressor air end, motor, front and rear end bearing, receiver tank, heat exchangers, controller, and VFD if configured.

Warranty Conditions

1.     Register for Warranty Card within 90 days after initiate and testing.

2.     Use according to the manual/or the actual environment requirements and carry out maintenance according to the manual's maintenance cycle, including correct installation and corresponding cooling conditions (use under the standard working conditions). The air should not contain productional anti-wear particles. For detail, please refer to the instruction manual attached.

3.     Purchase and replace genuine United spare parts, in which the fragile parts should affix with United OSD® marks. Vulnerable parts include lubricants, air filters, oil filters, and oil and air separators.

4.     The number of replaceable parts shall follow the operation manual's maintenance standard and determine by machine's operation time and the actual environment.

5.     In principle, the air compressor operation for a year needs to replace lubricating oil two times, air filter two times, oil filter two times and oil-air separator one time.

Warranty Application

For warranty application, please contact United Compressor Service Center. To avoid delay or rejection of warranty, please  provide the following information or documents before applying:

1.     Compressor information (Name Plate);

2.     Warranty Card;

3.     The customer shall provide copies of the original purchase receipt within the last two years from United Compressor or authorized dealership at the time of warranty application (receipt to include vulnerable parts name and quantity). Suppose the genuine vulnerable parts purchased through an intermediary (non-authorized dealer). In that case, the user shall provide a copy of the purchase receipt that traceable to the source of vulnerable parts and obtain approval by United Compressor Service Center.

Termination and Rejection

United Compressor reserves the right to terminate or deny warranty to the user at any time in any of the following circumstances:

1.     The information provided by the user is not correct;

2.     The user violates the warranty conditions stipulated in this agreement;

3.     Unable to provide the information and documents required for the warranty application;

4.     Damage by human factors, force majeure, or unauthorized disassembly or repair of the major parts.

5.     United Compressor is not liable to the user or any third party for any loss resulting from termination or rejection of the warranty on the screw rotor.

Privacy Protection

Protection of user privacy is a fundamental policy of United Compressor, which guarantees that user registration information will not be made public or made available to third parties, except in the following cases:

1.     Obtain explicit authorization from the user in advance;

2.     According to the relevant laws and regulations;

3.     By the requirements of relevant government departments;

4.     To safeguard the interests of the public;

5.     To protect the legitimate rights and interests of United Compressor.

United Compressor may cooperate with a third party to provide relevant value-added services to the user. The third-party agrees to assume the same responsibility for protecting the user's privacy as United. Then United can provide the registration data and other information of the user to the third party.

Under the premise of not disclosing individual users' private data, United Compressor has the right to analyze the user registration Database and use it for commercial purpose. United Compressor is not responsible under any circumstances for any loss of production, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, or any other indirect loss.
